Sacred White Paws

The Birmans

--------------

Mystery and Legend surrounds this beautiful cat.  The legend says that the first birman was a pure white cat named Sihn who belonged to the head priest in a temple in Birma.  When the temple was attacked and the head priest killed, Sihn placed his paws on his beloved master just as he died.  He then took on the seal point color that many birmans have today.  His paws remained white as a symbol of purity.  Seven days later Sihn died and carried his master's soul to the afterlife.  After that all the cats in the temple had similar colors, and were considered sacred by the priests.

Ever since I heard that story I have been enchanted by Birmans.  Their sweet personalities and striking beauty are certainly worthy of admiration, no matter how they actually came about.  So, here are my Birmans, bow down and worship them!

I breed the Kailyn file.
These are my personal petz and are not for adoption.

Mag is quite full of himself.  He thinks he's all that and a bag of chips.  But, he's a tabby point Birman, so he is all that.  He's got uber sexy stripy points.  So yeah, Mag rocks his own pure white socks!

Death by chocolate!  What a way to go!  See, I adopted this kitty the day after Easter, while pigging out on Easter candy.  So that's why I thought of his name.  And his call name is Reese because Reese's peanut butter cups are one of my favorites.  And Reese is a really cute name anyway.

Penguins do everything just for the halibut.
